WELCOME TO JEFFLIX
Jefflix is a private Plex library for friends and family.
Here’s how to get started:
Step 1:
Text Jeff the email address you want to use for Jefflix.
Use an email address you can access easily, because Plex will send you an invite and verification email there.
Step 2:
Once Jeff adds you, Plex will email you an invitation.
When you get it:
1. Open the email from Plex
2. Click the invite link
3. Create your Plex account if you don’t already have one
4. Verify your email address if Plex asks you to
5. Sign in and accept the library share
Use the same Plex login going forward for both watching and requesting content.
Step 3:
Download the Plex app on whatever device you use most.
Plex is available on:
• TVs and streaming devices
• iPhone and iPad
• Android phones and tablets
• PlayStation and Xbox
• Mac, Windows, and the web browser
Once the app is installed:
1. Open Plex
2. Sign in with your Plex account
3. Look for the Jefflix server/library
4. Start watching
Step 4:
Don’t see something you were hoping to see? No worries, just request it!
To request something new, go to:
Then:
1. Sign in with your Plex login
2. Search for what you want
3. Click Request
4. Choose the right library:
• Movies
• TV Shows
• Kids Movies
• Kids TV Shows
5. Submit the request
Your request goes into the Jefflix queue automatically. Most requests should show up within a few days.
A few notes…
• Use the same Plex login for both Plex and request.jefflix.video
• If you don’t see Jefflix in Plex yet, give it a few minutes and sign out/sign back in
